Mahoney Photography is a father and daughter team consisting
of Bay Area photographers Kristin and Brian Mahoney.

Kristin's interest in photography started when she was 8 years old when she received her first Polaroid camera. She went on to broaden her skills and developed her "style" in 35 mm photography over the next several years.
Kristin has also worked as a Floral Designer
at different times during the last ten years.
When photographing your wedding,
she has a keen eye for enhancing the colors and flowers
you have carefully chosen for your special day.

Kristin received her degree in Graphic Design from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, located in San Francisco. She has been freelancing as a photographer and designer, specializing in wedding photography since 2000.

Brian has over 20 years of photographic experience, including portraiture, landscape, architectural, event and wedding photography.

Mahoney Photography is based out of Marin County,
just north of San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge.

Having two photographers allows for more coverage of your wedding celebration and ensures that there is never a "missed moment."
Having two photographers also enables the capture of a
wider range of perspectives and elements of the wedding.

Working as a team, Kristin and Brian seek to create "aliveness" in the
wedding day that will be exciting and memorable in the years to come.
While remaining as unobtrusive and discreet as possible,
it is their objective to add to everyone's enjoyment of the event.

They use natural, outdoor daylight whenever possible,
to remain as true to the day itself.
Using a range of films, including color, black & white and infrared,
they will originate a collection of images for the couple,
family and friends to enjoy for a lifetime.
